Our Services
Plantation Tour
Here at Rancho Maria Lucas, we strive to deliver nutritious food to tables all while regenerating the world through organic farming. We believe that organic farming is a holistic approach to improving the ranch's soil health which will eventually improve animal and plant welfare. Our tour guide will bring you to our different plantation so you'll be able to observe different plant varieties. All throughout the tour, our tour guide will provide a brief explanation of the different plant varieties and as to why we prefer planting such variety on the farm. Everything that grows on the farm is systematically and personally hand-picked to serve a purpose in the farm's biodiversity. We have a plantation of various fruit-bearing trees including Calamansi, European Lemon, Rambutan, Cacao, Langka, and Carabao Mangoes. We also have palays farm within the ranch which provides staple food to our farmers.
The ranch also grows medicinal plants such as ginseng. We also have vanilla plants where vanilla extracts are derived from and are commonly used in baking and cooking. We also grow Yakal trees, a popular hardwood that we see beneficial in the future in sustaining our farmers' houses, animal sheds, and ranch accommodations. Our Madre de cacao, Madre de agua, and mulberry plants serve as good for our goats.
